Yi Jian grew up on the edge... between the Malay-speaking and
Chinese-speaking lines of Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. After living and working in Singapore for ten years, he then returned to KL after not being cunning
enough to get a post-graduate work visa in Australia. He doesn't have any
manic, quirky habits worth mentioning about although he does dabble in
writing regional sci-fi and board games. He is a freelance researcher
(politics and international relations) otherwise.
Born in Kuala Lumpur and raised in Subang Jaya, Deborah Wong graduated
from the University of London with a degree in law before attending
summer intensive creative writing course at the University of British Columbia. Her poems have appeared in Crack The Spine, Streetcake Magazine, The Stray Branch, East Jasmine Review and elsewhere. She is the founder/Editor-in-Chief of ZiggyZag Arms Poetry Journal and reviews
poetry submissions for Eastlit.
